This is another video of experiments, kind of in a stop motion style. With the help of my boyfriend and premiere pro i was able to create this video of images.

I have developed a few photos from the k1000 and they have come out ok, I need to work on the exposure maybe holding the exposure a little more and as this is only an experiment I will be working with other materials also.

More vibrations

Today I conducted an experiment, with my sisters "Sub - Woofer".

Creating vibrations from songs through different materials, I tried 2 today with my SLR.

Water and Salt

The water was perfect for the experiment, pouring a very small amount into a plastic cup, the bass from the speakers created waves in the water. The salt was very stable and didn't move alot.

I have some videos and pictures from my SLR, I will be doing the experiment again with a K1000 later on today.

Not sure about the aperture, I used a grade 00 from the Ilford gradings and around 45 seconds of exposure on the picture.

Hopefully my blog will get fuller :D

Good Vibrations :D

Ok, the title a little weird I know, but I have started a new project and as my last blogging didn't go so well I am wondering whether to start another one.

For my 2nd year in University I am starting a photography projects in which case I will be creating effects with sound, be that vibration, lasers you name it I will try it.

I started off by looking at certain shapes that look like soundwaves this photograph is example of that (courtesy of my friends Ashley and Adam who took the photograph) I double exposed the photograph and tried did some times on it, but this was the end result of it.

I know its not much for my first post in while but hopefully I will be getting some more photos done next week (Y)
